Vermilion Council on Aging Inc. would like to introduce Laurie Deslatte, the newly elected Board President of VCOA, and Senior Living Advisor for Aging with Grace Acadiana. Laurie brings over 16 years of experience in the senior living industry.
She has previously served as Vice President and President of the Louisiana Assisted Living Association and is an active member of the Youngsville Rotary Club.

Laurie has been married to her husband, Jarrod, for 14 years, and they have a 12-year-old son. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering with local nonprofit organizations and has a passion for reading. Guided by her faith, she strives to serve others and make a positive impact in everything she does.

As a Senior Living Advisor, Laurie provides expert knowledge, guidance, and support to seniors in the Acadiana area, helping them navigate their senior living options with wisdom and compassion.
Join us in welcoming Laurie to her new role, where she promises to lead with dynamism, compassion, and the excellence she brings to all her contributions to the community.

The Mission of Vermilion Council on Aging is to help the elderly of Vermilion Parish maintain their independence and dignity in their homes, and grow old comfortably and gracefully, with an emphasis on reaching those who are isolated, alone, and in need.
