Caring changes us.

As we gather in gratitude this Thanksgiving season, I want each of you to know how deeply thankful I am for your hard work, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the seniors of Vermilion Parish. Every day, you show up with heart. You serve with purpose. You make a difference that can be felt in the lives of the people who depend on us.

Our mission comes alive because of you—your kindness, your professionalism, your teamwork, and the care you pour into everything you do. Whether you are in the kitchen, on the road, in the office, or working directly with our clients, your efforts create comfort, dignity, and connection for hundreds of seniors. That is a remarkable gift.

I am truly grateful for each member of this team. Thank you for your long hours, your flexibility, your sacrifices, and your willingness to go the extra mile, especially during the busiest times. You make the Vermilion Council on Aging not just an organization, but a family.

Wishing you and your loved ones a warm, peaceful, and happy

Thanksgiving. You deserve all the joy this season brings.

With heartfelt appreciation,
