“Driven by Care: A Pink & Gold Promise”

Tagline

Moving Our Seniors Forward—Together

Theme Meaning

Promise reflects the community-wide commitment to initiate and sustain reliable transportation for older adults in Vermilion Parish.
The Vermilion Council on Aging, Inc. is excited to invite our community, business leaders, and major donors to our upcoming Pink & Gold Luncheon on October 8, 2026, at Magdalen Place, benefiting our new Transportation Program for seniors and disabled residents throughout Vermilion Parish.

Pink symbolizes compassion, care, and community.

Gold represents dignity, value, and the priceless role our seniors hold.

Driven by Care connects directly to transportation—movement, access, and independence.

This exciting new venture will expand independence, accessibility, and quality of life for those who rely on safe and dependable transportation services. Our brand-new accessible van is currently under construction and scheduled for delivery this September — a major step forward for our community.

Guests will enjoy:
💗 A lovely luncheon
💛 Inspiring guest speakers
💗 Fellowship and celebration
💛 Opportunities to support a life-changing community initiative

We are actively seeking major donors and corporate sponsors to help us ensure the long-term success of this program. Sponsorship levels and event details can be found on the homepage of Vermilion Council on Aging.

Celebrate with us as we launch this important new chapter for Vermilion Parish seniors. Together, we can keep our community connected, cared for, and moving forward. vermilioncoa.org
